Frequently asked questions

How do I pay for the course?

Payments will be made by credit card through Stripe.

Do I need any healthcare experience to take this course?

Nope! This course is designed for beginners. We’ll teach you everything you need to know — from medical terminology to hands-on skills.

Is there a payment plan or financial aid available?

Right now, the course is a one-time payment of $549 — less than $45 a week. We keep it affordable by cutting out extra fees and keeping the program short and focused.

What kind of job can I get after I graduate?

This program prepares you to become a licensed Chiropractic Assistant (CA). Many of our students go on to work in clinics like ours — and we often hire directly from the program.

Will I be certified after the course?

Once you have completed the online program, you will also be required to complete 520 hours of in-service clinical training under the supervision of a certified Supervising Chiropractor. The first 20 hours of this training must be completed in an observation-only capacity.

After both the coursework and clinical training requirements are fulfilled, you will become eligible to apply for the Maryland Chiropractic Assistant license exam. Please note that licensing requirements vary by state, so be sure to verify the guidelines specific to your jurisdiction.

Where does the in-person training happen?

The hands-on portion of the course takes place at one of our local partner clinics. We’ll match you with a location that works for you as best we can.

How much time do I need to commit to the course each week?

Plan to complete a total of 79 hours of online coursework across 11 modules. Of these hours, 3 hours must be dedicated specifically to the Jurisprudence module, with the remaining 76 hours completed across the other 10 modules. Because each module varies in scope and complexity, the time required to complete each may differ.

In addition, the program includes 24 hours of in-person training, completed over three days (8 hours per day).

To support compliance with Maryland Board requirements, the course includes a built-in timing system that tracks both the required 3 hours of Jurisprudence instruction and the remaining 76 hours of online coursework. These timers are visible throughout the program, allowing you to monitor your progress at all times while ensuring that all instructional hour requirements are fully met.

Will I get help finding a job after the course?

While we do not provide formal job placement services, many Chiropractic Assistants within our organization are hired from among individuals who successfully complete our program. Graduates are often considered when positions become available across our network of clinics, making completion of the course a strong advantage when seeking employment.
Additional Licensure Requirements
Important! Board Certified Supervising Chiropractors must submit a CA Notification of Employment Form to the Board as soon as they are hired. There are stiff penalties if a CA is found working without first being registered with the board so do not delay registering any new CAs.

CA applicants must complete all requirements within 11 months of registration so their application and documentation can be submitted, and so they can complete their examination within a one-year period of hire. Dates of examination can be found in the "Exam Resource" section of the Board of Examiners Website.

CAs must complete their online and hands-on training, show a certificate of "Provider Level" Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR training, and submit them with documentation of 520 hours in office training 30 days prior to the date of examination. It is the Supervising chiropractor's duty to document 520 hours of in-service training. For full licensure requirements, please visit the MD State Board of Chiropractic Examiners page . https://health.maryland.gov/chiropractic/Pages/exam.aspx

Any questions regarding the duties of a supervising chiropractor or the CA application process should be made directly to the Board of Examiners at (410) 767-6500.
